Das Europaparlament stoppt das umstrittene Swift-Abkommen - und brüskiert damit die Vereinigten Staaten von Amerika. Denn die USA hatten mit dem Verweis auf die Bekämpfung von Terroristen immer vehement darauf gedrängt, Zugriff auf europäische Bankdaten zu bekommen. Das Swift-Abkommen hat dies möglich gemacht.
