Berlin: (hib/STO) Im Ausländerzentralregister (AZR) waren Ende Februar dieses Jahres fast 4,5 Millionen EU-Bürger erfasst. Dies geht aus der Antwort der Bundesregierung (16/12569) auf eine Kleine Anfrage der
Fraktion Bündnis 90/Die Grünen (16/12398) zur Speicherung von Unionsbürgern im Ausländerzentralregister hervor. Danach waren zum 28. Februar 2009 genau 4.469.609 Unionsbürger im AZR erfasst.
