US-Armee kauft Tarn-Drohnen im Vogel-Design

36 Maverics-Drohnen hat die US-Armee für 3,6 Mio. $ gekauft. Die 1,1kg leichte Mini-Aufklärungsdrohne ist nahezu lautlos und soll wie ein Greifvogel aussehen. Sie kann 7.600 Meter hoch und von 33 bis 100 km/h schnell fliegen. Ab einer Flughöhe von 100 Metern ist sie am Boden nicht mehr zu hören. Eine Akkuladung reicht für 75 Minuten Flug.
