UNO-Vollversammlung billigt neue Datenschutz-Resolution

Der Menschenrechtsausschuss der UNO-Vollversammlung hat vorgestern eine verschärfte Resolution zum Schutz der Privatsphäre im digitalen Zeitalter gebilligt. Die von Deutschland und Brasilien vorgelegt Resolution geht über einen Text vom Vorjahr hinaus und erwähnt ausdrücklich auch die Pflichten der Privatwirtschaft beim Datenschutz. 

Die Abstimmung erfolgte ohne Gegenstimmen.
