Making the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights a reality for all

The conference ‘Making the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights a reality for all’ will take place on Tuesday 12 November 2019 .
The event will be an occasion to reflect on how the Charter can become a meaningful part of everyday life. It will bring together national authorities, civil society and rights defenders.

(You will also find at this link the programme, the background papers, the biographies of the speakers, as well as the FRA paper on “The EU Charter of Fundamental Rights on its 10th anniversary: views of civil society and national human rights institutions".)

In addition we would like to draw your attention to the fact that on 19 November FRA is co-hosting another Charter event: The European Justice Stakeholders Forum 4th annual plenary session, will take place on November 19th at the European Economic and Social Committee in Brussels. This year's plenary will focus on ’Rights under threat – how can the EU Fundamental Rights Charter work better for citizens?’ to mark the 10 years from the entry into force of the European Charter of Fundamental Rights. Participation is open to everybody who registers at chiara@passerelle-pa.com.
