Vaccination registration also interacts with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter

Why, really? It's just about vaccination notification.

Just a few days ago we had reported that "Rapid tests expose personal data" and just as impossible we found the news "Unsafe Corona vaccination ... this applies at least to the registration for vaccination and data protection!" in the access of Google to the data of those willing to vaccinate in several Austrian provinces.

Now there is an investigation from the US about the involvement of Google, Facebook and Twitter in the registration procedures for vaccination. The Blacklight tool can be used to test whether third parties receive information about visits to the enrollment website.

A survey for several states showed very different results - so there were also nearly privacy-compliant sign-up procedures (e.g., in Texas, New York, New Hampshire). However, there were also poor privacy ratings. For example, Utah (10 trackers, 22 third-party cookies), New Jersey (12 trackers, 11 third-party cookies) and Hawaii (17 trackers, 37 third-party cookies) were way up in the poor third.

Taking the cake was Nevada, where the immunization notification included 24 ad trackers and 45 third-party cookies. A spokeswoman for Immunize Nevada, explained that they "use digital advertising to educate and inform Nevadans about these vaccines, and we use Google Analytics to track the performance of these ads." The website also interacts with Facebook, Instagram and Twitter - for what it's worth?
