About the symposium
From 14 to 19 September 2010 the anniversary conference of the Right Livelihood Award (“Alternative Nobel Prize”) will take place in Bonn. The title of this meeting of Alternative Nobel Laureates from the past 30 years is “CHANGINGcourse–reclaiming our future“.
During the conference, the Laureates will have the opportunity to network, to form new alliances to strengthen their work, to exchange experience, knowledge, the insights from successes and failures. Having become a tradition, these "family gatherings" are an important aspect of the Right Livelihood Award Foundation's work to continuously support its Recipients. On 16 September, Cluster events in Bonn are organized not only to exchange knowledge with local and international institutions and activists but also to discuss future scenarios for change.
Aim of the Cluster Event “Peace on earth?” is the implementation of dialogue and networking between international and national peace and conflict researchers on the one hand and Laureates of the Right Livelihood Award (RLA) on the other in
